On March 28th, the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry released the latest statistical data, which highlighted the robust development momentum of China's shipbuilding industry in the first two months of this year. The data shows that from January to February, the national ship completion volume reached 8.26 million deadweight tons, a growth rate of 95.4% compared to the same period last year. This is undoubtedly a strong testament to the release of domestic shipbuilding industry capacity and the recovery of market demand. At the same time, the new ship orders also showed a significant growth trend, totaling 15.2 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 64.4%, indicating a continuous increase in the recognition of Chinese shipbuilding quality and technological level by domestic and foreign shipowners. By the end of February, China's ship orders on hand reached 14.919 million deadweight tons, a 31.3% increase compared to the same period of the previous year, showing that China's shipbuilding industry will maintain a stable production task and a considerable market expectation for a period in the future. The growth in the backlog of orders also indicates that China's shipbuilding industry will have a continuous guarantee of production capacity and economic benefits in the future. In such a market environment, shipbuilding-related listed companies such as China Shipbuilding, China Shipbuilding Technology, Guorui Technology, China Power, and China Shipbuilding Defense will usher in a good opportunity for development. As the core force of China's shipbuilding industry, these companies will, against the backdrop of full orders and strong market demand, further enhance their competitiveness through technological innovation and lean management, achieving steady growth in performance.
